Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round contest which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" the American as the pair came face-to-face to publicize next month's boxing match.
Former twice unified title holder Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I'm going to injure his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will seriously aim to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
Despite those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually famous for his theatrics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead criticized ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British rival Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Still, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's greatest financial successes, regularly earning huge financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.
Size Disparity
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the usual stare-down, with their height and weight contrast evident, it drove home just how improbable this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the fight is actually going ahead.
